In the beginning of her career Christine distinguished herself with two seasons at New York City Opera where she appeared in Carmen, The Magic Flute, Mefistofele, and The MIkado. She has performed with numerous american opera companies, such as Greater Miami Opera, Syracuse Opera, Florentine Opera, Indianapolis Opera and Tulsa Opera to her credit. In demand as a concert soloist she has made appearances with the SanDiego Symphony, the Colorado Symphony, the Pacific Symphony and the Orquestra Sinfonica de les Illes Balears (Spain).
Since relocating to Portland in 1990, Ms. Meadows has enjoyed singing with many Northwest companies, performing frequently with the Oregon Symphony and for the Cascade Music Festival, where she was seen in Maria de Buenos Aires(Piazzola) last season. Last season also brought Handel's Messiah with the Walla Walla Symphony, Beethoven's Ninth with the Vancouver Symphony and Carmen with the Oregon East Symphony. This winter she performed Carmen with the Obsidian Opera in Bend and sang the role of Mrs. Peachum and Lucy for the Portland Baroque Orchestra.
